[Animal Experiment]-The effect of PM2.5 on female rats' reproductive endocrine levels and pregnancy outcome

Objective: To study the effect of PM2.5 on the level of reproductive endocrine hormones and pregnancy outcome in female rats.

Method: 30 female rats were randomly divided into control group (saline), low-dose PM2.5 group (1.5mg/kg) and high-dose PM2.5 group (37.5mg/kg). .. Expose to PM2.5 for 10 days, take pre-pregnancy blood and place it in a cage. The rats were sacrificed on the 19th day of pregnancy, and serum was collected and separated. ELISA kit is used to measure serum estradiol (E2) and progesterone (progesterone) levels before and after pregnancy. PROG), chorionic gonadotropin (CG), luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) hormone levels; Caesarean section of fetal rats.

Result: The fertility rates of the control group, low-dose group and high-dose group were 90.77%, 59.49% and 60.27%, respectively. Compared with the control group, the live birth rate of low-dose and high-dose fetal mice was significantly reduced (P0.05), while the blood FSH of mice in the high-dose group was significantly reduced (P). u003c0.05).

Conclusion: PM2.5 may affect the outcome of pregnancy by affecting the level of endocrine hormone secretion.
