[Animal modeling] Application of -3M tissue glue and electrocoagulation to hemostasis in nephrectomy in uremic rats

Objective: To compare the application of two hemostatic methods in rat uremia model?

Method: Divide male SD rats into two groups A and B. Have you created a uremic model using left 2/3 resection and right nephrectomy? 3M tissue adhesive was used to stop bleeding during the 2/3 resection of the left kidney in group B, and electrocoagulation was used to stop bleeding in group B. Compare the amount of bleeding during surgery. The blood flow obstruction time of the left kidney was compared with the survival rate of rats after surgery. By measuring the creatinine level, is the normal blood creatinine level 2-3 times higher than that of the uremic rat model? Pathological examination of kidney tissue?

Result: The blood creatinine in the two methods of hemostasis was increased to the requirements of the uremia model. The blood flow occlusion time of the left kidney in group A was (59.97±7.56) seconds, group B was (174.1±15.28) seconds (P<0.05), and the bleeding volume of left nephrectomy in group A was (0.11±0.037) mL , B group is (0.24±0.056) mL (P<0.05); the histopathological manifestations of the kidneys in the two groups are renal ischemic glomerular contraction? Urethral interstitial fibrosis; the postoperative survival rate of group A was significantly higher than that of group B (P<0.05)?

Conclusion: Is the bleeding time, bleeding volume or postoperative survival of 3M tissue better than electrocoagulation to stop bleeding?
