1. Principle

　　 In the planning and project establishment of laboratory animal facilities, in addition to following the above basic principles, the following requirements should be fully considered from the planning stage.

　　(1) Site selection

　　 1. Pollution sources should be avoided.

　　 2. Choose an area with better ambient air quality and natural conditions.

　　 3. Keep away from areas with serious air pollution, vibration or noise. If it cannot be far away from the above areas, it should be arranged on the upwind side of the local maximum frequency wind direction or the downwind side of the annual minimum frequency wind direction.

　　 4. Keep away from the production and storage areas of flammable and explosive materials, and away from high-voltage lines and their facilities.

　　 (two) general plane

　　1. There should not be less than 2 entrances and exits for the facility, and the entrances and exits for personnel should not be used as animal carcasses and waste exits.

　　 2. Temporary waste storage should be set up in a hidden place.

　　 3. Plants that affect the living environment of experimental animals should not be planted around.
