Purpose: To establish biological indicators for long-term toxicity studies of normal SD rats in the barrier environment animal laboratory of the Center for Chinese Medicine Safety Assessment (CLP) to provide reference indicators for future researchers.
Method: Collect 10 batches of normal control SD rats, carry out long-term toxicity test, normal feed, once a week, measure weight gain and food intake at 3 and 6 months respectively, and measure organ index once at the end of the recovery period. , Blood and biochemical indicators.
Result: The food intake of male SD rats is higher and more linear than female body weight. The organ index of male rats is decreasing. This indicates that the growth and development of male rats and the utilization of feed are higher than those of three-dimensional rats. Immediately, there were no obvious changes in blood and biochemical indicators.
Conclusion: These conventional data indicators can provide reference indicators for future rat experiments in the GLP barrier environment animal laboratory.
