Purpose: This study aims to collect blood indicators at different developmental stages of juvenile SD rats, establish corresponding background data, and provide a reference for the safety assessment of pediatric drugs.
Method: Collect blood samples of about 200 SD rats aged 3, 6, 8, 12, and 16 weeks, and use an automatic blood cell counter and a biochemical analyzer to determine the corresponding indicators.
Results: From the results of various indicators, the blood indicators of 6-week-old rats are those of 16-week-old rats. Most indicators include RBC, HGB, TP, BUN and blood of 12-week-old rats. Is different. Compared with 16-week-old rats, most indicators such as WBC, HGB, and BUN are not different.
Conclusion: The blood indicators of SD rats of different ages have a constant time correlation. Establishing background data for different time periods is very important to guide the statistical analysis and discussion of blood indicators in young rats.
