Result and analysis of testing ability of experimental animals Bordetella bronchis

Purpose: In a proficiency test activity, to evaluate the detection ability of Bordetella bronchis in domestic laboratory animal laboratories.

Method: According to the relevant documents of CNAS, the China Food and Drug Administration, as the provider of proficiency testing, created a comparison containing Bordetella bronchis, Pasteurella aerogenes and Escherichia coli as interfering bacteria Samples and provide them to participating laboratories. Test results and reports should be fed back to people at the specified time.

Result: The average bacterial content of the three prepared samples exceeded 1×108 CFU/mL, and the accelerated stabilization time at 37°C exceeded 20 days, which met the comparative requirements. A total of 25 laboratory animal laboratories in 18 states and cities across the country participated in the meeting. All laboratories reported results on time, with a satisfaction rate of 88%.

Conclusion: This ability test lays the foundation for the further development of the experimental animal respiratory bacteria comparison project. Most participating laboratories have consistent and reliable detection capabilities for Bordetella bronchis.
