OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Direct Water Safe Capsules on blood lipid levels in atherosclerotic mice, and to explore the mechanism of Direct Water Safe Capsules in treating stroke.
Method: A six-week-old male ApoE-/- high-fat diet was used to establish an atherosclerosis model. After successful modeling, they were randomly divided into model group, Naoshuantong Capsule low-dose group and Naoshuantong Capsule high-dose group. The low-dose group was given Naomiizu Antsu capsules 0.5 g/kg body weight, the high-dose group was given Naomizu Antsu capsules 1.0 g/kg body weight, and the control group was given the same amount of distilled water. After continuous administration for 12 weeks, blood was collected from the abdominal aorta and serum was separated. Serum total cholesterol (total cholesterol, total cholesterol), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, enzyme combined with colorimetric analysis to determine HDL-C) levels. versus
Result: Compared with the model group, the Naoshu Antsu capsule low-dose and high-dose groups significantly reduced serum TC, TG and LDL-C content, but HDL-it did not affect C content. Conclusion Naoshutong Capsule can regulate blood lipid level, and the treatment mechanism of stroke may be related to this method.
