【Animal Experiment】-Comparison study of small animal micro-CT, ultrasound and aortic catheterization in evaluating left ventricular function

Purpose: To study the consistency and correlation of micro-CT, aortic cannulation and echocardiography in measuring left ventricular function parameters, and to evaluate the value of microCT in evaluating left ventricular function.

Method: Use micro-CT, aortic intubation and ultrasound to examine the cardiac function of 10 pairs of normal and heart failure rats, and use cardiac function analysis software to measure volume and flow using left ventricular function parameters (end-systolic volume, end-diastolic volume). Score the results of micro-CT and compare them with the results of aortic cannulation and echocardiography.

Results: The results of the 10-mouse test, micro-CT, aortic intubation and echocardiography are closely related to the left ventricular function parameters.

Conclusion: Micro-CT can be used to assess left ventricular function and is a feasible solution for accurately measuring ventricular function.
