TRIM26 expression profile in human and mouse main tissues and organs

Objective: To find out the expression position and level of TRIM26 in various tissues and organs of human and mice.

Method: The expression location study uses the immunohistochemistry PV-9000 two-step method (non-biotin), uses the BioGPS database to analyze the expression level of TRIM26 in human tissues, and uses RT-qPCR in mice. Detect the expression level of TRIM26 in major tissues and organs.

Results: IHC results indicate that TRIM26 protein signal is located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, and its expression is more common in epithelial cells. It is found in human and mouse esophageal squamous cells, gastric epithelial cells, small intestinal epithelial cells, colon epithelial cells, pancreatic islet cells, brain glial cells, renal tubular epithelial cells and glomerular cells, and endometrial glandular epithelial cells TRIM26 protein. you can see. The position of the expression is consistent. In addition, TRIM26 showed the highest relative expression in human tracheal tissue and mouse spleen tissue.

Conclusion: The expression position of TRIM26 in human and mouse tissues is the same, and the expression level is slightly different. The clear expression profile of TRIM26 in major human and mouse tissues and organs lays an excellent foundation for using TRIM26 conditional knockout mice to analyze the function of TRIM26 in various tissues and organs.
