Changes in plasma and tissue levels of sex hormones in female nude mice with green fluorescence in different periods

Objective To understand the changes in plasma levels of estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, and the levels of prolactin and prolactin receptor mRNA in various tissues of male nude mice in different pregnancy and lactation periods.

Method The level of hormones in plasma is measured by electrochemiluminescence method, and the relative expression of prolactin and prolactin receptor mRNA is measured by fluorescent quantitative PCR method.

Results The levels of estrogen and prolactin in GFP female rats continued to decline during pregnancy, the level of progesterone first increased and then slowly decreased, the level of prolactin mRNA in the tissue was lower, and the level of prolactin receptor was higher; while during lactation The level of estrogen and progesterone is relatively stable, the level of prolactin mRNA in the tissue is higher, and the level of prolactin receptor is lower.

Conclusion GFP female nude mice have different levels of sex hormones in different periods. They participate in the pregnancy control process of nude mice, and provide basic reference values and internal divisional solutions for solving the problems of infertility and miscarriage in female mice.
