Effect of Feilong Palm Blood Extract on Inflammatory Factors in Hyperlipidemia Rats with Myocardial Ischemia

Objective: To observe the effect of Toddalia asiatica extract (TAE) on inflammatory factors in rats with hyperlipidemia myocardial ischemia, and to preliminarily explore the mechanism of TAE on cardiovascular protection.

Methods: Take SD male rats and feed them with high-fat diet for 4 weeks to induce hyperlipidemia. They were randomly divided into control group, model group, simvastatin group, TAE high- and low-dose groups, and continued feeding for 4 weeks until the end of the experiment. 72 hours ago, three subcutaneous injections of isoprenaline hydrochloride (Iso) resulted in a hyperlipidemia myocardial ischemia model. 8 The ECG, heart, liver, fat index, and total cholesterol (total cholesterol, TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and the inflammatory factor tumor necrosis factor-α (tumor necrosis factor-α, TNF-α), interferon-γ (interferon-γ, INF-γ), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10) content, myocardial tissue pathological observation .

Results: TAE can improve the changes in the electrocardiogram of myocardial ischemia in rats caused by Iso, inhibit the heart, liver, and fat index, reduce the serum TC?TG? LDL content, increase the serum HDL content; reduce the serum TNF-α?INF-γ?IL -6 level, increase the serum IL-10 content (P<0.05), improve myocardial tissue pathological damage.

Conclusion: Feilong palm blood extract may reduce blood lipid levels by adjusting the balance of anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory factors, and exert its cardiovascular protective effect.
