Objective: To observe the curative effect of electroacupuncture in a rat model of type 2 diabetes with renal hypertension, and to explore its possible mechanism of action, to further improve the application of acupuncture in clinical acute and chronic diseases. Methods: Ten of 50 Wistar rats were randomly selected as the blank group, and the remaining 40 were used for model making, and were randomly divided into simple diabetes group, simple renal hypertension group, compound model electroacupuncture group, and compound model non-electricity group. Needle group. After 4 weeks of a high-fat and high-sugar diet, rats were given a rapid intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) to make a simple type 2 diabetes model. After the blood sugar of the model is stabilized, the modified "two kidneys and one clip method" is used to ligate the rats. Rats have unilateral renal artery, causing renal artery stenosis and forming renal hypertension. Finally, a stable composite model of type 2 diabetes with renal hypertension was obtained. Except that the rats in the compound model non-electroacupuncture group were not treated with electroacupuncture, the rats in the other groups were given electroacupuncture for two cycles (2 weeks). Finally, the blood pressure (BP), fasting blood glucose (FBG), blood creatinine (Cr), urea nitrogen (BUN), glycosylated hemoglobin (GHbA1c), renin (PRA) and angiotensin Ⅱ were detected before and after electroacupuncture in each group of rats (Ang Ⅱ) changes in value. Results: After 2 weeks of electroacupuncture, the BP, FBG, GHbA1c, PRA, and Ang Ⅱ values of the compound model electroacupuncture group were lower than the compound model non-electroacupuncture group (P<0.01), but="" the="" cr="" and="" bun="" values="" did="" not="" change="" significantly="" p="">0.05). Conclusion: Electrical acupuncture to stimulate the bilateral Zusanli points of a rat model of type 2 diabetes with renal hypertension can reduce the blood sugar and blood pressure of the compound model rat to normal levels, and within 2-3 days after a single electrical acupuncture stimulation , The blood glucose and blood pressure of the compound model rats can be stabilized at the level after treatment. In addition, compared with other treatment methods, acupuncture therapy has the advantages of economy, safety, and no side effects, and is more suitable for early clinical treatment and basic research of type 2 diabetes with renal hypertension.
