Reproduction method: Guinea pigs are often used to reproduce acute allergic bronchospasm. Use normal saline to make 1:10 chicken egg white solution as sensitizing antigen. Inject 0.5 ml into the abdominal cavity of each guinea pig (body weight 250 g). One week after the sensitization injection, the sensitivity of the animal to the antigen gradually increases to 3-3, preferably within 4 weeks. At this time, use 2 ml of 1/3 egg white and Freund's complete adjuvant spray (in the spray chamber). The sensitized animal will become anxious in 10 seconds to a few minutes in the nebulization chamber, causing its breathing to tighten and accelerate. It will gradually slow down and weaken, and even breathe regularly until it stops and dies. If the animal's sensitivity is low or the concentration of the protein spray is very high during the induction process, only temporary bronchospasm will occur and will not lead to death. If you switch to histamine spray, you do not need to sensitize first. May cause bronchospasm in guinea pigs. The amount of histamine depends on the size of the spray chamber. For a volume of 83-103, 1:1000 histamine is 0.5-1 ml.
If the dog is exposed to Toxoplasma canis, roundworm or mixed grass seed extract aerosol twice a week, it will cause experimental asthma. The skin test of dogs inhaling Ascaris suum aerosol is positive, and the diluted Ascaris suum extract contains 10-8, which may cause asthma.
