Improved method for establishing rat myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury model

Objective: To comprehensively evaluate the improved method for establishing a rat model of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Method: 45 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: rapid operation group, conventional thoracotomy group and modified group, 15 rats in each group. Rat myocardial ischemia-reperfusion models were created by rapid operation, conventional thoracotomy model and improved methods, respectively, and rat hearts were collected for observation by TTC+Evans blue staining. The model success rate, rat survival rate, and myocardial The damage situation is analyzed and compared in three aspects.

Result: Compared with rapid modeling and open chest modeling, the success rate and survival rate of improved method modeling have been improved, and the thickness of myocardial infarction area is uniform.

Conclusion: The improved method for constructing myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury model is more feasible and can be popularized and applied.
