　　 Results At present, many animals used in the preparation of facial paralysis models include rats, mice, and Japanese large-eared mice. The modeling methods include drawing nerve cutting method, pressing method, and pulling method.

　　 Conclusion At present, there are many preparation methods of facial paralysis models, and each has advantages and disadvantages. According to different research purposes, different modeling methods can be selected to provide a scientific basis for acupuncture treatment of facial paralysis.
