【Animal Modeling】-Rabbit face lifting model

Objective: To establish an experimental rabbit facial lifting model, and to further evaluate the lifting effect of the absorbable soft tissue lifting plastic tape (plastic tape) on the skin, and to provide experimental evidence for the clinical application of the plastic tape.

Method: 36 Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into a model control group (6) and a plastic lifting group (30). Facial skin resection was used to make facial skin lifting models, of which the plastic belt lifting group had facial skin resection After the implantation of the plastic band, the model control group only underwent facial skin resection and lifting; the general condition of each group of experimental rabbits, the skin lifting effect, the performance analysis of the plastic band after implantation and the pathological changes of subcutaneous tissue were observed within 4 weeks.

Results: The skin wounds of each rabbit healed within 3~7 days after the operation. No infection occurred. During the 4 weeks of implantation, there was no displacement or rupture of the plastic belt. Only the two groups showed local whitening around the perforations; compared with the model control group In comparison, the MA and MB distances of the plastic belt lifting group were significantly reduced (P<0.01), but the biological tension of the plastic belt in the facial skin lifting model rabbits increased significantly with the prolonged implantation time (P<0.01), 4 weeks The biological tension reached 18.62 N; in addition, the tensile strength of the second group of teeth and the plate after implantation decreased significantly after 4 weeks of implantation (P<0.01), and="" the="" tensile="" strength="" of="" second="" group="" teeth="" plate="" was="" maintained="" at="" respectively.="" 53.31="" p="">0.05); In addition, the weight-average molecular weight (Mw), peak molecular weight (Mp), Z-average molecular weight (Mz) and viscosity of the orthopedic tape gradually decrease with the extension of the implantation time ( P<0.01); and its dispersion Mz/Mw ratio also began to decrease significantly after 2 weeks of implantation (P<0.01), and there was no obvious pathological change after the subcutaneous implantation of the plastic band.

Conclusion: This study has successfully established an experimental rabbit facial skin lifting model. The plastic band can significantly improve the skin fascia system and can be maintained intact in the body for more than 4 weeks. It can be used for facial soft tissue lifting and plastic surgery for clinical aging disorders. wrinkle.
