【Animal Modeling】-Nude mice orthotopic transplantation model of liver cancer

Objective: To establish an orthotopic transplantation model of BALB/c nude mice with liver cancer.

Method: Use isoflurane vaporization and BALB/c nude mouse allograft model to establish general anesthesia for experimental animals with "implantation method" and "sandwich method". After the operation, the in vivo imaging system of the small animal detected the growth of the tumor tissue, and histopathological examination of the liver and tumor tissue was performed 4 weeks later.

Result: The BALB/c nude mouse model of liver cancer sympathetic transplantation established by the sandwich method has short operation time, low difficulty, high tumor formation rate, and good tumor tissue growth. It is characterized in that the tumor is not widely transplanted into the abdomen. Histopathological examination was normal, and animal mortality was low.

Conclusion: Compared with the implantation method, the sandwich method has more advantages. It can quickly prepare a large number of mouse liver cancer sympathetic nerve transplant models, and is more used for liver cancer sympathetic pharmacokinetics and other studies. It provides a convenient platform.
