Objective: To establish a hyperlipidemia model of cynomolgus monkeys with similar characteristics to human diseases, and to provide an ideal animal model for the development of lipid-lowering drugs, especially biological lipid-lowering drugs.
Methods: Semi-liquid high-sugar and high-fat diet emulsion, 6 days a week, nasal feeding treatment group male cynomolgus monkeys, monkey body weight (BW), body mass index (BMI), serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) regular monitoring ? Have high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and other indicators analyzed the trend of changes in blood lipid indicators?
Result: In June of the third model compared with the corresponding control group, we successfully modeled all 6 middle-aged and old male cynomolgus monkeys and 5 adult male cynomolgus monkeys in the treatment group. At the 21st month of modeling, did all male cynomolgus monkeys in the treatment group still maintain high blood lipid levels? : Feed the semi-liquid, high-sugar and high-fat edible emulsion quantitatively for 3 consecutive months to prepare a hyperlipidemia cynomolgus monkey model characterized by hypercholesterolemia and high-low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
