[Animal Modeling]-Effect of Naoshuantong Capsule on Blood Lipid Level in Atherosclerotic Mice

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Naoshuantong Capsule on the blood lipid level of atherosclerotic mice, and to explore the therapeutic effect of Naoshuantong Capsule on stroke.

Method: 6-week-old male ApoE-/- mice were established with a high-fat diet to establish an atherosclerosis model. After successful modeling, they were randomly divided into model group, Naoshuantong Capsule low-dose group and Naoshuantong Capsule height. -Dose group group. The low-dose group received 0.5 g/kg body weight Naomizu Antsu capsules, the high-dose group received 1.0 g/kg body weight Naomizu Antsu capsules, and the control group received the same amount of distilled water. After continuous administration for 12 weeks, blood was collected from the abdominal aorta and serum was separated. Enzyme binding colorimetry to determine the serum total cholesterol (total cholesterol, TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, HDL-C) levels.

Result: Compared with the model group, the Naoshuantong Capsule low-dose and high-dose groups significantly reduced the serum TC, TG and LDL-C content, but reduced the HDL-C content.

Conclusion: Naoshuantong capsules can regulate blood lipid levels, and the treatment mechanism of stroke may be related to this method.
