【Animal Modeling】-The effect of long-term administration of Fumikang vaginal suppository on blood physiological and biochemical indexes of rabbits

Objective: To observe the effect of long-term use of Fumikang vaginal suppository on blood physiology and biochemistry in rabbits, and to provide scientific basis for clinical safe medication.

Method: Fumikang vaginal suppository extract powder was applied once a day to the vagina continuously for 6 months at a dose of 8.586, 2.856, and 0.952 g/kg body weight to check the blood physiological and biochemical indicators.

Results: Six months after administration of Fumican vaginal suppository, the free red blood cell count, hemoglobin content and hematocrit value of the Fumican vaginal suppository powder group at a dose of 8.568 g/kg increased significantly compared with the vehicle control group (P0.05) . Six months after drug administration and four weeks after drug withdrawal, each group had no significant effect on blood biochemical indicators.

Conclusion: Long-term use of Fumican vaginal suppository at 2.856 g/kg will not affect the blood physiology and biochemistry of rabbits, and the safe dose of Fumican vaginal suppository is 2.856 g/kg? Below, the recommendation is 20 times. Adult clinical dose (adult is calculated based on 60 kg body weight).
