【Animal Modeling】-Comparison Study of Small Animal Micro-CT, Ultrasound and Aortic Intubation in the Evaluation of Left Ventricular Function

Objective: To investigate the consistency and correlation of micro-CT, aortic cannulation and echocardiography in measuring left ventricular function parameters, and to evaluate the value of micro-CT in evaluating left ventricular function.

Method: Use Micro CT, aortic cannulation and ultrasound to examine the cardiac function of 10 pairs of normal and heart failure rats, and use cardiac function analysis software to measure the left ventricular function parameter: end systole. Diastolic volume, ejection fraction and microCT results, as well as the results of aortic intubation and echocardiography.

Result: The result is obtained by testing rats. Micro-CT, aortic cannulation and echocardiography are closely related to left ventricular function parameters.

Conclusion: Micro-CT can be used to assess left ventricular function and is a feasible solution for accurately measuring ventricular function.
