Establishment and analysis of hyperlipidemia cynomolgus monkey model-animal experiment

Objective: To establish a high-fat macaque model.

Method: Use a high-fat diet to induce cynomolgus monkeys. Serum total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and triglycerides were detected at 4, 8, 12 and 18. per month. We analyzed the trend of lipid (TC) index and its blood lipid index.

Result: After 4 months of high-fat diet in the model group, TC, HDL and LDL were significantly different from those before the experiment (P<0.01). After eating a high-fat diet for 8 months, TC increased significantly. Compared with before the experiment, it is extremely significant (P<0.01); after modeling, the TC, HDL, LDL, and TC of the high-fat diet group are higher than those of the normal control group, and the difference is very significant (P<0.01).

Conclusion: In this experiment, the TC, HDL, LDL and TC of the model group showed an upward trend, especially the TC and LDL were significantly higher than the normal reference value of cynomolgus monkeys, while the cynomolgus monkeys of the model group had high cholesterol, indicating this . The characteristics of low-density lipoproteinemia first established an animal model of hyperlipidemia in cynomolgus monkeys.
