Objective: To establish a mouse model of myasthenia gravis with positive muscle specific receptor tyrosine kinase antibody (MuSK-Ab).
Method: Eagle C57BL/6 mice (40 mice) aged 6-8 weeks. Randomly group and model for weekly reproduction. On the first day of modeling, the immune antigen (each site including 50μL, 12.5μg mouse peptide and CFA Freund's complete adjuvant) was injected into 4 sites (2 hind legs and 2 shoulders). The model immune antigen was reinjected into the above four positions (two hind legs and two shoulders), and daily disease scores were given from day 70.
The success rate of the model is 50%. The scores are 1 mouse 1 point, 3 mice 2 points, 5 mice 3 points and 1 mouse 4 points.
Conclusion: The creation of the MuSK-Ab mouse model is feasible and will be useful for detailed studies of myasthenia gravis.
