【Animal Modeling】-Exhausted exercise animal model

The exhausted exercise animal model is one of the most severe animal models of acute exercise fatigue, and is characterized by forcing the animal to exercise until it is completely exhausted.

  1. Treadmill aerobic exercise animal model

The replication method uses healthy male SD rats weighing 250-300 g. Observation indicators (same as above) are used to determine whether the animal is tired and the degree of fatigue. The experimental rats were running at a speed of 18 m/min for 200 minutes at a moderate intensity level, and they were stimulated with sound and a brush during exercise. The general condition of the experimental rats, running movement and exercise ability have undergone significant changes. During exercise, more and longer stimulation time is required to maintain the intensity of the original work. In the middle of 200 minutes of exercise (usually 100 to 120 minutes), when the rat's exercise capacity is significantly reduced (stimulation frequency is 6 hours/min) to induce a further decline in the experimental rat's exercise capacity, the rat will rest for a while meeting. For a short time (usually 5 minutes), and then continue to exercise until the original working intensity cannot be maintained and the rat will show obvious discomfort. It can be used as a fatigue animal model for aerobic exercise.

  2. Thorough sports animal swimming model

Copy method Select healthy male SD rats weighing 250-300 g, and swim with their tails to establish a thorough sports animal model. Body weight is 3% of body weight, pool depth is 50 cm, water temperature is (31 ± 1) °C, and 5-6 rats can swim per square meter of water. in the meantime. If a mouse swims to the bottom for more than 10 seconds three times in a row, it is considered exhausted.
