[Animal Modeling]-A model of memory consolidation disorder caused by hypoxia in the brain

  1. Modeling material animal: mouse; medicine: 96.2% N2 and 3.8% O2 mixed gas, pure CO2, NaNO2; equipment: airtight tank.

  2. After training the modeling method, immediately put the mouse in a closed water tank and let it pass a mixture of 96.2% N2 and 3.8% O2 until the animal fell to the ground and lost consciousness. Animals can also inhale pure carbon dioxide or inject 120 mg/kg of NaNO2 subcutaneously into the test after 24 hours.

  3. The principle of modeling can lead to hypoxia in the brain, thereby destroying memory retention and leading to impaired memory integration.

  4. Re-run the model to make regular changes after the platform jump test. Compared with control animals, the incubation period of model animals is significantly reduced, the number of errors within 5 minutes is significantly increased, and memory is no longer maintained.
