Objective: To design and develop a simple rat and mouse laser locator to provide a safe, convenient, accurate, inexpensive and easy-to-operate experimental tool for medical MRI experiments.
Method: Use a combination of plexiglass plate and laser positioner to create a small animal laser positioner.
Result: Compared with other similar products, the mouse laser positioner has the advantages of being easy to manufacture, safe, basically meeting the experimental requirements and low price.
Conclusion: The small animal laser locator has played an active role in the MRI examination of small animals, greatly shortening the experimental time, improving the accuracy of the placement of experimental animals, and effectively ensuring the next step of MRI scanning.
