【Animal Modeling】-A new type of advanced liver tumor animal model

Objective: To establish a new animal model of advanced liver tumor by injecting tumor cells into the portal vein.

Method: Human hepatocellular carcinoma obtained by culturing MHCC97? H? Human colorectal cancer SW480? Human non-small cell lung cancer A549 and human triple negative breast cancer MDA? MB? 231 is the same as other cell lines. These malignant tumor cells are BALB/c nude mouse hepatic portal vein. After 3-4 weeks of proliferation, PET/CT test: 18F nuclear probe is about 200μCi? Inject FDG into the tail vein and perform a PET/CT test on BALB/c nude mice after 30-40 minutes? Based on this, do you want to collect animals to obtain livers and take pictures to identify tumor lesions in the liver of BALB/c nude mice?

Result: MHCC97? H? SW480? A549 and MDA? MB? There may be 231 cells in the liver of BALB/c nude mice. Multiple diffuse tumor lesions were detected by PET/CT. The proliferation of tumor cells in the liver of nude mice was detected. Do SW480, MDA, MB, 231 and A549 MHCC97 form the PET/CT detection signal of diseased cells? Weak cells than H.?

Conclusion: We have successfully obtained a new animal model of advanced liver tumors, and laid a solid foundation for screening drugs related to advanced liver tumors.
