[Animal Modeling]-Potential leads to osteoporosis in male mice

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of bakuchiol on osteoporosis in male mice induced by castration.

Method: ICR male mice were randomly divided into control group, castration model group, positive drug group, perthiol 10 mg/kg and 20 mg/kg body recombination, and the other groups were randomly divided into 5 groups. Was divided. Remove the testicles of the mouse. After 6 weeks of successful modeling, the mice were treated with the drug for 8 weeks to detect serum biochemical indicators. The right tibia of each group was used for MicroCT scan, and the femur of each group was used for bone biomechanics measurement. ..

Results: The osteocalcin OC levels of the control group, model, B10 and B20 mg/kg groups were (177.69±45.13), (220.35±25.08), (167.48±74.11) and (108.76±38.17), respectively. The Tb.N of the model group, the positive drug group, and the B10 and B20 mg/kg groups were (3.53±0.49), (1.71±016), (2.51±0.35), (2.14±0.23) and (2.45±0.42).

Conclusion: Bakuchiol has a therapeutic effect on osteoporosis in mice caused by castration.
