　　Objective: To establish a rat model of ulcerative colitis with yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney.

　　Method: Establish a spleen-kidney-positive UC animal model by administering Luba Decoction, intramuscular injection of hydrocortisone and TNBS (2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid) and ethanol enema. Sixty rats were randomly divided into blank group, 7 UC model group, spleen and kidney yang deficiency group, 14d and 21d groups, and the serum content of each group was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.

　　Result: The serum FT3, FT4 and T levels of the rats in the spleen and kidney-positive UC model group at 7, 14 and 21 days were lower than those in the blank group (P\u003c0.05). 21d model group.

　　Conclusion: FT3, FT4, T are sensitive indicators of spleen and kidney deficiency. The detection of serum FT3, FT4, T can better prove the spleen and kidney deficiency; it proves the animal model of UC spleen deficiency.
