　　The animal model of interstitial cystitis is an important reference for the study of interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/bladder pain syndrome, BPS). Currently, most basic research on IC/BPS requires research and investigation of its animal models. Is there no gold standard for pathological diagnosis of IC/BPS, and most different animal models show one or more phenotypes of IC/BPS? This article introduces the modeling methods and applications of the most commonly used rat models in rodents.
