Purpose: To compare and analyze the differences of three commonly used modeling methods in the mouse model of primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) in order to study the modeling methods that meet the clinical characteristics of POI.
Method: 96 ICR mice with regular estrus cycles were randomly divided into 4 groups: control group, B tripterygium wilfordii group, C vinyl cyclohexene dioxide (VCD) group, and D galactose group. After adaptive feeding, various model establishment interventions were carried out, and 16 days, 46 days and 76 days after intervention were randomly divided into groups with 8 mice in each group. Detect serum sex hormones in mice, and detect the pathological changes of ovaries and ovaries.
Result: The number of follicles of mouse E2 in each model group was significantly different from that of the control group. Each model group has an estrus cycle disorder, but the control group is negative.
Conclusion: Intraperitoneal injection of VCD will damage the ovarian function of mice and cause a mouse POI model. The modeling method is simple, easy to implement, and has a high success rate. Among the three modeling methods, modeling is more ideal and can be simplified.
