The typical pathological changes are necrosis of the substantia nigra striatum and loss of dopaminergic neurons, as well as many movement disorders. The cause of the disease has not been clearly studied, and the use of related animal models is very important for studying the specific mechanism and treatment of the disease. We focus on the current state of PD animal models.

　　This article combines the characteristics of different PD animal models, describes the characteristics of different animal types of PD models, compares the clinical differences between animal models and PD patients, and provides a reference for the further development of PD animal models.
