How to establish an experimental animal model for multiple sclerosis? -Animal modeling

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. This is a difficult and serious disease of the clinical nervous system. The basic pathological features include inflammatory infiltration, primary demyelination and glial cell activation. All studies on its pathological process, pathogenesis, and therapeutic drug screening and evaluation require appropriate animal models.

This article introduces the research progress from the pathogenesis, pathogenicity and indications of MS model.
