At present, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is the main type of heart failure (HF), but there are no effective preventive measures. In order to develop new drugs for the prevention and treatment of HFpEF and explain its efficacy, pharmacology and pharmacokinetic properties, there is an urgent need to establish an animal model that can reflect the pathogenic and pathological properties of HFpEF.
"In this article, the current animals that can reflect the pathological characteristics of HFpEF, in order to establish a more representative animal model of HFpEF according to current standards, to better reflect the clinical characteristics of HFpEF.
