Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental illness with a high incidence and a major impact on social economy after experiencing a major traumatic event. At present, the pathogenesis of PTSD is still unclear, which seriously hinders the development and application of clinical drugs. The establishment of disease animal models is of vital importance to people's understanding of the clinical manifestations, pathogenesis and treatment of PTSD. In recent years, researchers have successively proposed various animal models of PTSD, and conducted research in behavioral and molecular biology.
