Objective: To explore the feasibility and safety of using Cook Company's LBS200 intrahepatic biopsy device for transjugular liver biopsy (TJLB).
Method: Use imaging technology to perform TJLB biopsy on 5 piglets, carefully observe the puncture path during the operation, and collect liver tissue biopsy samples.
Result: All 5 miniature pigs underwent TJLB surgery and successfully collected liver tissue biopsy samples. There were no related complications, and enough liver tissue was obtained for related pathological analysis.
Conclusion: It is safe and feasible to use Cook's LBS200 intrahepatic biopsy device to perform TJLB on miniature pigs and provide technical support for further clinical applications.
