Purpose: To detect and analyze the genetic background of highly immunodeficient mice from multiple sources to determine whether the genetic background of transgenic mice matches the genetic characteristics of inbred lines.
Method: From 4 different sources of NOD background and genotype highly immunodeficient mice, through gel electrophoresis results and STR scanning, 30 microsatellite DNAs were selected from 30 types of microsatellite DNAs for PCR detection, and the genes were detected analysis.
Result: A total of 17 loci of 20 samples in 4 groups showed polymorphism. The 30 microsatellite loci of mice in group A and group B showed purity. The other two groups of mice showed heterogeneity at different loci. The distance between groups A and B is the smallest and maintains a high degree of genetic similarity.
Conclusion: Studies have shown that highly immunodeficient mice from different sources have different genetic backgrounds.
