Post-traumatic stress disorder is a serious mental disorder that can cause serious harm to the human body and cause sleep disorders, anxiety, fear and cognitive impairment. In the past few decades, various rodent stress models have been established at home and abroad to study the underlying pathophysiological mechanism of PTSD. Model animals show symptoms similar to PTSD, but each animal model cannot fully show all the symptoms and biological changes of PTSD. Therefore, this article briefly summarizes the modeling methods and physiological changes of PTSD models commonly used in recent years.
