【Animal Modeling】-How to establish an experimental animal model for multiple sclerosis?

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. This is a difficult and serious disease of the clinical nervous system. The basic pathological features include inflammatory infiltration, primary demyelination, and glial cell activation. Appropriate animal models are needed to study the pathological process, etiology, and screening and evaluation of therapeutic drugs.

This article introduces the research progress of MS models in terms of the pathogenesis, pathogenic characteristics, and indications of MS models.
