【Animal Modeling】-How to establish a rat arthropathy model of hemophilia?

Hemophilic arthropathy is a debilitating disease caused by spontaneous intra-articular hemorrhage and recurrent intra-articular hematoma. The main clinical manifestations are chronic pain, joint damage and poor quality of life. The biological mechanism is not fully understood. The current transformed animal models of hemophilia have important value in determining the pathophysiology of the disease and its complications. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a model of hemophilia arthropathy to further study the pathophysiological mechanism and possible interventional treatment of hemophilia arthropathy.

Hemophilia mice have become the preferred animal model for researchers due to their ease of transportation and assembly. The hemophilia arthropathy model will also become the basis of future clinical research.
