【Animal Modeling】-The protective effect of Danggui Buxue Decoction on radiation-damaged mice

Objective: To observe the protective effect of Danggui Buxue Decoction on mice irradiated with 60C0-γ rays.

Method: The experimental mice were randomly divided into 5 groups (normal control group, model group, Danggui Buxue Decoction low, medium and high dose groups), and 60C0-γ radiation source was used to divide each abnormal group. Be irradiated. The radiation injury model of the control group was established, which was determined by the peripheral blood neutrophils (NEUT), bone marrow nucleated cells (BMC), serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, and serum malondialdehyde (MDA) content in each group of mice .

Results: The NEUT, BMC, and SOD activities of radiation-damaged mice were significantly reduced (Pu003c0.01), and MDA content increased (Pu003c0.01). Danggui Buxue Decoction can increase the activity of NEUT, BMC, SOD and reduce the content of MDA after radiation injury in mice. The high-dose Danggui Buxue Decoction group provided better protection to radiation-damaged mice (Pu003c0.01).

Conclusion: Danggui Buxue Decoction has a protective effect on the ionization damage of irradiated mice, and it is related to the dose.
