Effect of extract of Cangzhu on gastric mucosa and gastrointestinal immune function in rats with spleen deficiency syndrome

Objective: To explore the protective effect of red jujube extract (ERA) on the gastric mucosa of rats with spleen deficiency and its influence on the immune function of the gastrointestinal tract, and to clarify the mechanism of ERA's intervention in spleen deficiency syndrome.

Method: Establish a rat model of spleen deficiency syndrome by giving Xiaochengqi Decoction and starvation and satiety. After the model was successfully replicated, the animals were randomly divided into spleen deficiency model group, ERA high, medium, and low dose groups. , And domperidone group. Continue intragastric administration for 10 days. The intestinal perfusion method was used to detect the IgA content in the rat intestinal perfusion fluid, the abdominal aorta blood sampling method was used to detect the rat serum IgG content, and the rat thymus and spleen indexes were determined. Pathological observation of rat gastric mucosa by HE staining, laser Doppler microcirculation blood flow instrument to measure rat gastric mucosal blood flow, immunohistochemical method to measure rat gastric mucosa TFF1 and colonic TLR4 expression.

Results: Compared with the normal group, the gastric mucosal morphology, gastric mucosal blood flow and related immunological indexes of the model group had significant changes; compared with the model group, the gastric mucosal morphology and gastric mucosal morphology of rats were compared with each dose of gastric mucosal blood flow ERA, stomach Trefoil factor 1 (TFF1) expression, intestinal perfusion fluid IgA, serum IgG content, thymus, spleen index, and colon TLR4 expression in mucosal tissues all increased to varying degrees, the difference was statistically significant (Pu003c0.05 or Pu003c0.01) .

Conclusion: ERA can inhibit gastric mucosal damage in rats with spleen deficiency syndrome, protect and repair damaged mucosal tissue, and improve the immune function of rats with spleen deficiency syndrome.
