【Animal Modeling】-The effect of estrogen and progesterone on the induced differential expression of αvβ3 in bovine endometrial epithelial cells in vitro

Objective: To study the induced differential expression of integrin αvβ3 gene in bovine uterine epithelial cells cultured in vitro, and to provide reference for exploring bovine uterine receptor marker protein?

Method: Use RT-PCR method to analyze different concentrations of estrogen? Progesterone and estrogen? Synergistic effect of progesterone on the induced expression of integrin αvβ3 in bovine endometrial epithelial cells?

Result: Adding progesterone 10-7 mg/mL alone resulted in the highest expression of integrin αvβ3 10. The levels of αv and β3 in the -7 mg/mL group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P0.05)?

Conclusion: When progesterone is used alone, and estrogen and progesterone are used in combination, both can promote the increase of the expression of integrin αvβ3 mRNA in epithelial cells, and the effect of estrogen is opposite. Therefore, integrin αvβ3 can be used as a potential reference for uterine resistance of bovine endometrial epithelium during the "implantation window".
