【Animal Modeling】-Establishment of psychiatric dependence drug addiction model and expression of Bax gene in cerebellum

OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of psychotropic drugs (heroin) on Bax gene expression in the cerebellum of poisoned rats, and establish it with a continuous dose increase method.

Method: Intoxicated rat model, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the expression of Bax gene in cerebellar cells.

Result: After the rats were continuously injected with heroin for 7 days, the rats showed obvious withdrawal symptoms. The levels of Bax, caspase-3 and caspase-9 in cerebellar cells were increased by 88.21 to 94.21 to 87.24 in the control group, respectively. Compared with the control group, there is a significant difference (Pu003c0.01).

Conclusion: The damaging effect of psychotropic drugs (heroin) on brain tissue cells may be achieved by inducing the expression of Bax gene in the cerebellum and activating caspases.
