  Conclusion: The animal model of hypophysectomy is cheap and convenient to use, but there are many influencing factors. Not suitable for studying the relationship between growth hormone and bone metabolism. Although the animal models of spontaneous growth hormone deficiency and gene knockout animal models are expensive, some lack of growth hormone is suitable for studying the effect of growth hormone deficiency on bone metabolism.
