Objective: To establish a rat model of ulcerative colitis with deficiency of both spleen and kidney.
Method: Use red jujube soup, intramuscular injection of hydrocortisone, TNBS (2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid) mixed with ethanol enema to establish an animal model of UC with deficiency of both spleen and kidney. 60 rats were randomly divided into blank group, UC model 7, 14d, 21d spleen and kidney thyroxine group, and enzyme-linked immunoassay was used to detect the serum FT3, FT4, and T levels in each group.
Result: The serum FT3, FT4, and T levels of rats in the spleen-kidney yang-deficiency UC model group on the 7th, 14th, and 21st days were lower than those of the blank group (Pu003c0.05), and the 21d model group.
Conclusion: FT3, FT4, and T are sensitive indicators of spleen and kidney thyroxine. Detection of serum FT3, FT4, T can better prove the spleen and kidney thyroxine; it is proved to be a UC animal model of spleen and kidney deficiency and yang deficiency, and the reconstruction is successful.
