【Animal Modeling】-Analysis of Taohe Chengqi Decoction on Interventional Treatment of Rat Models of Hepatic Encephalopathy

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Taohe Chengqi Decoction (Glycyrrhiza) on hepatic encephalopathy caused by thioacetamide (TAA) in rats.

Method: Establish a rat model of hepatic encephalopathy by intraperitoneal injection of TAA and Taohe Chengqi Decoction (Degan grass), and perform hepatic encephalopathy, nervous system examination, serum biochemical indicators, liver and brain pathological damage. ) Observe the rat's neurobehavioral change granules.

Result: This experiment successfully constructed a rat model of hepatic encephalopathy. Low, medium and high doses of Taohe Chengqi Decoction (Degancao) granules can improve TAA-induced nerve reflex in HE rats to varying degrees, reduce HE levels, blood ammonia and biochemical indicators, reduce indicators, and reveal pathological consequences. Alleviate this phenomenon , The high-dose group has the best effect (Pu003c0.05), and the effect is similar to that of the positive drug.

Conclusion: Taohe Chengqi Decoction (Glycyrrhizae) has a good preventive effect on rat hepatic encephalopathy caused by TAA. This experiment provides a solid experimental basis for the application of the preparation in clinical hepatic encephalopathy.
