【Animal Modeling】-A mouse model of skin type lupus

Objective: By observing and identifying the skin symptoms of senile systemic lupus erythematosus (TC) mice, to explore whether it can be used as a mouse model for studying skin lupus erythematosus (TC).

Method: Observe the age of TC mice, compare the skin symptom mice of the same age with C57BL/6 mice, detect the anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-ANA antibody in the serum of mice by ELISA, and detect the symptoms of pathological mouse skin staining by HE?

Result: TC mice showed symptoms such as 2/3 alopecia and skin ulcers. The lesion first occurred at 40 weeks of age. The serum anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-ANA antibody titers of skin lesion lymphocytes were significantly higher than that of C57BL/6 mice (Pu003c0.05); the HE staining results showed that lymphocytes lacked the stratum corneum, which was above. Show that the skin layer is interrupted, and a large number of lymphocytes penetrate into the skin?

Conclusion: Lupus mice developed skin lesions after 40 weeks. This indicates that this mouse can be used as a chronic skin study.
