OBJECTIVE: After observing the changes in the vitality and inhibition rate of immunoglobulin (IgE) in serum and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in lung tissue of mice in different stages of each experimental group, to discuss the effects of Yuemaijia Banxia Decoction on mice with allergic asthma The mechanism of action.
Method: randomly divide Ankang Kunming mice into normal control group, asthma model group, dexamethasone intervention group and traditional Chinese medicine preparation group. Ovalbumin (OVA), aluminum hydroxide gel suspension intraperitoneal injection sensitization and nebulization were used to establish a mouse asthma model. After the model was successfully established, the traditional Chinese medicine preparation group was given Yuemaijia Pinellia solution 1 mL/100 g. The dexamethasone group was given intraperitoneal injection of dexamethasone 1 mg/kg. The mice in the normal control group and the asthma model group were given saline intragastrically in divided doses. After 30 days of administration, the mice were sacrificed, the serum IgE level and lung tissue SOD vitality of each group of mice were detected, and HE staining was stopped to observe the pathological changes of lung tissue.
Results: Compared with the asthma model group of mice in the traditional Chinese medicine preparation group, the level of IgE in the peripheral serum of the former decreased (P<0.05), and the difference in IgE between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05); the former lung tissue homogenate The rate of vitality and inhibition of SOD increased, and the rate of vitality and inhibition of SOD was significantly different between the two groups (P<0.05).
Conclusion: Decreasing the serum IgE content in mice with allergic asthma and increasing the vitality and inhibition rate of SOD in lung tissues of mice, and improving the anti-oxidation ability of lung tissues may be one of the mechanisms of the treatment of allergic asthma by Yuemaijia Banxia Decoction .
