【Animal Modeling】-The protective effect of Jiedu Quyu Zishen Decoction on the kidney of MRL/lpr lupus mice interfered with TLR9 signaling pathway

OBJECTIVE: Based on the intervention of TLR9-MyD88-NF-κB pathway, explain the maintenance effect of Jiedu Quyu Zishen Recipe on the kidney of lupus rats.

Method: 30 MRL/lpr lupus mice were randomly divided into three groups: model control group, prednisone treatment group, and traditional Chinese medicine group. The corresponding drug treatment was stopped for each treatment group for 8 weeks. Use HE staining method, PAS staining method, and Masson staining method to stop pathological staining of MRL/lpr mouse kidney sections respectively, observe the pathological changes and treatment effects of the three groups of mice; use real-time PCR to observe the TLR of each group of mice -9, the difference of MyD88, NF-κB mRNA expression.

Result: Compared with the model group, the traditional Chinese medicine group can significantly improve the pathological damage of kidney tissue in MRL/lpr mice. Real-time PCR results showed that the expressions of TLR-9, MyD88 and NF-κB mRNA in the kidney tissue of MRL/lpr mice in the traditional Chinese medicine group were lower than those in the model group (all P<0.05).

Conclusion: Jiedu Quyu Zishen Decoction has a protective effect on the kidneys of MRL/lpr mice, which can affect its pathological changes, reduce kidney damage, and delay the course of the disease. The inhibitory effect of -9-MyD88-NF-κB signaling pathway is related.
